South West

Heavily influenced by Bordeaux the South West has a wide variety of appellations mainly based on the Bordeaux grape varieties. Here you can find a real contrast in wines.Dry reds and whites, the sweet Monbazaillac and the succulent, velvety smooth and dark almost black wine made from negrette. Wines to be drunk young and wines that will age impressively.
