Here you will find the oldest of all French vineyards with vines introduced by the Greeks in the 6th century.

Again here we find a new generation of wine makers committed to producing quality wines and to lose the poor reputation it had created for itself.
Salmon pink rose wines and whites dominate - good reds are still difficult to find, usually in the Cotes de Provence and the Coteaux Varois. Bandol is the best known appellation.
